Recently I have been going through multiple health concerns, which has been very difficult for me and my family. Thankfully Attenborough surgery has Dr. Skandakumar as she is an amazing GP and helped me through these difficult times. She is very understanding, empathetic, and takes time to explain things simply, yet thoroughly. I am so happy that she is now my GP, she truly deserves more than 5 stars!

Dr Butt treated me as if I was a bother to her for the entirety of my appointment. At one point, she even sighed in annoyance. Even if she was having a bad day, there was no need to take it out on a patient.

Dr Slyper was great when treating my child He had an ear infection and we have seen so many doctors for it but she took the initiative to take swabs of the ears to see what type of bacteria was there We have seen 8 doctors and not one of them had thought of this We really do appreciate this

Went in early in the morning to book an appointment, receptionists were just sat there having a conversation whilst I waited, when I ask to book one I’m told there isn’t any until the next week, unfortunately I’m not available on that day. They don’t offer any solutions (like what about bushey surgery??). I leave after not being able to book an appointment. As soon as I leave I call bushey Attenborough surgery since they always seem to be able to book appointments and help offer solutions. To my surprise I was told that carpenders park gp which I just left had appointments available on that day, they just didn’t tell me. I obviously book it, however when I go in for my appointment, the check in screen displays a 6 minute delay. It was actually 30 minute+ delay. When I did finally see my doctor she rushed through the appointment and was going through what seemed like a checklist and kept interrupting me when I tried to explain my symptoms. In the end I was told to come back in a month if nothing improved even though I’ve had this problem for 2 months already. If this was a one off experience I wouldn’t be rating a one star but every time I try to book an appointment Carpenders Park Will tell me there aren’t any available or even offer to see other nearby surgeries, however when I try to book elsewhere there’s always appointments available at carpenders park that they didn’t tell me about for some reason. The doctors also seem to be a little rude and try to rush through appointments now (I know there’s time constraints, but at least listen to symptoms rather than just going through whatever checklist u have). It’s a shame since this survey is super close to home and convenient to get to and I’ve been going there since a child and they used to be lovely but in the last few years the service has seriously deteriorated.

Once again poor service from the surgery. I don’t know when they will get their act together. My wife is pregnant and called up on Thursday 13/04/23 to ask for a repeat prescription to be sent to the pharmacy. She called up again today 17/04/23 and asked if it had been done the receptionist who was utterly useless just said nothing had been done and she doesn’t know when the GP will review it, this was at 11 am today and still no one from the surgery has even bothered to try and resolve the issue. We fly away on holiday on Wednesday and nothing has been sorted out. I’ve had a similar situation before where my mother didn’t get her repeat prescription sent to the pharmacy with had her end up in a&e for 5 hours with two ambulance drivers because her Blood pressure was so high and didn’t have the medication to help her. Again if Attenborough had their services and process sorted out the situation would have not escalated and it would not have led to 2 ambulance drivers sitting in a&e waiting for my mother to be seen. Once again Attenborough it just shows you don’t learn, and one day you will cause some serious harm to someone’s life !

Every time when you call it takes 40 minutes until the receptionist pick up the phone, rude receptionist Keysha (brown hair lady with glasses) which uses an aggressive and arrogant tone all the time , I tried to book an urgent appointment on the day for my son and myself , she booked it only for my son but rushed me to go to a different surgery , I told her I don’t drive , she said no appointments available for Carpenders park, then I called Bushey Attenborough surgery and the receptionist there she booked me in for Carpenders park , so appointments were available At Carpenders park surgery only the receptionist didn’t want to book it , very rude and arrogant . Also the doctors always when you go with a problem they start reading all the tests that you did months ago and not even listen to what are you saying and they rush you out. I had ongoing problems but no doctor gave me a proper diagnosis based on my symptoms . Some doctors they lack knowleadge,…. Very frustrating .

Getting an appointment on the phone means calling at least 50 times. The online consult page doesn’t seem to be working. Shows an error when you try and submit. Really need to improve that system as when it worked it was good. They hardly answer the phone on the first try. They really need to answer phone calls as the old and vulnerable (or anyone) who wants a appointment shouldn’t have to call numerous times to make one. You spend more time waiting for the dr than you do in the room with the dr. Some seem a bit rushed and don’t even have the time to say bye without taking their eyes off the computer screen. Receptionists - some are very rude and abrupt. Not very professional. Some see you standing there but ignore you for ages.

Worst Surgery ever, if you must go, make sure to avoid DR Ranjini at all costs! She is very rude, and sarcastic. In the end she also forgot to prescribe the medications needed! Had to go back and forth with pharmacy and gp to finally get all medicines prescribed after 10 days!!! Their reception team seems to be confused, but eventually they get you there! But this particular doctor needs to change her attitude!

I have been living in Carpendars park for almost 10 years now and always have been happy with the surgery! But recently my experience with this receptionist called Sandra has been really unpleasant . Three times I have spoken to her and all the three times she has been very rude and unhelpful. To the extent that I now fear to call the surgery and I might get her on the phone . She doesn’t even explain things properly and be always cut and right . When I requested her to write a note to the gp she denied and said unfortunately there are lot of people in pain not just u so just have to wait .That’s not the way to speak. infact I spoke to the other receptionist Michele and she was kind and did the needful .. I feel awful and terrible every time I speak to Sandra ! All we sometimes want is someone speaking to us nicely in these terrible times !
